What counts toward my usage?

These terms describe the proposed offer. They take effect only when the plan goes on sale.

What counts toward my usage?

A 40-minute video uses 40 review minutes. Its first revision for the same audience is included. Reviewing it for a different audience uses another 40 minutes and includes one revision for that audience.

Uploading a video
Free. Nothing is charged until you start a review and see what it will use.
First review
Uses the video's length in review minutes, counted only when a usable result is saved. A failed or canceled review uses nothing.
Revision of the same video
One revised review is included for the same audience within 30 days, if the new cut is no more than 10% longer.
Another audience
Uses the video's length again, and includes its own revision.
Viewing, choosing, exporting notes
Never counted.
Rendering a clip
Counts once toward the monthly exports when the file is finished. Downloading it again does not count.
More review time
Extra review time: US$25 for 60 minutes, bought when you need it, valid for 90 days.
Unused minutes
The monthly allowance resets on your billing date. Bought minutes expire after 90 days.

Billing questions

Is there a free trial?

The example read is free to open without an account. Reviewing your own video needs the paid plan, and you see the price before anything is charged.

How do I cancel?

Stop renewal from account settings. You keep access until the end of the period you paid for. You do not need to reconnect YouTube to cancel.

Does connecting Google or YouTube start billing?

No. Signing in and connecting your channel never charge you. Payment is a separate step that repeats the price and terms.

What if a review fails?

Nothing is used. Retries caused by SlateRoom are never counted twice.
